Valentine Mailbox

By: VS Grenier

Here’s a fun way to hold all your valentines this year, and you’ll be helping the environment by recycling.

What you need:

· White tissue paper or solid colored wrapping paper

· Stickers

· Markers

· Glitter (optional)

· Scissors

· Tape or glue

· Small empty container (hot chocolate box, powdered drink can, etc.)

Instructions as Easy as 1-2-3:

1. Wrap your container with the tissue or wrapping paper.

2. Use the glue or tape to hold the wrapping paper in place.

3. Have an adult cut an opening at the top big enough for valentines.

4. Use stickers, glitter, and markers to decorate the outside.

5. Make sure to write your name somewhere on the top or side.

You may take your Valentine Mailbox with you to school on the day of your class Valentine’s party, if your teacher says it is okay. You wouldn’t want to lose those special valentines.
